The college is striving to protect the environment, which is an integral part of sustainable development. This requires applying organised environmental techniques and promoting environmental awareness.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sustainable development goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the Earth&#8217;s environment and climate, and ensure that people everywhere enjoy peace and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The College of Languages aims to contribute to many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through its support for cultural activities and the importance of learning languages and within its goals is contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Third goal: Good health and well-being<\/span><\/strong>. The College of Languages cooperates with relevant parties by holding awareness seminars and workshops in the field of promoting the health reality in society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Fourth goal: Quality education.<\/span><\/strong> Students receive quality education in the language and culture of various foreign languages through cooperation with foreign universities and bringing in visiting professors and holding scientific seminars, and paying attention to the quality of education, which will help them succeed in their studies and careers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Fifth goal: Gender equality<\/span><\/strong>. Students of both sexes receive good education in various foreign languages, in addition to learning the principles of computer science, holding awareness workshops in various fields, and enabling women to take equal opportunities with their male peers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Sixth goal: Clean water and sanitation.<\/span><\/strong> The College of Languages organises an awareness workshop on the National Initiative for Energy, Water and Emission Reduction for the purposes of awareness and the achievement of sustainable development goals in the field of clean water and sanitation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Eighth goal: Decent Work and Economic Growth.<\/span><\/strong> Students will be able to find suitable work and contribute to the economic growth of Iraq after competing their studies. This is due to holding development courses inside and outside Iraq that the College of Languages offers to its students during their study and after graduation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Tenth goal: Reducing inequality.<\/span><\/strong> Students from all over Iraq will have the opportunity to learn about the language and culture of foreign countries whose mother tongue is taught at the College of Languages.
