The department was one of the branches of the Department of Oriental Studies in the College of Arts, which included the three branches of the Persian language, the Turkish language, and the Hebrew language. Then these branches separated and became three complete departments, which were transferred to the College of Languages when the college was established in 1987.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #ffffff;\">Postgraduate studies in the Persian language department began in the academic year 1993\/1994 and continued until the academic year 2002\/2003, when they were reopened in the academic year 2008\/2009 for a master\u2019s degree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_54464\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon far fa-eye\"><\/i><div>Vision<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\"><div class=\"cz_gap clr  hide_on_tablet hide_on_mobile\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_tablet clr  show_only_tablet\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_mobile clr\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Leadership in Persian language education and excellence in scientific research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_103605\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-031-objective\"><\/i><div>Mission<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\"><div class=\"cz_gap clr  hide_on_tablet hide_on_mobile\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_tablet clr  show_only_tablet\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_mobile clr\" style=\"height: 20px\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The Department of Persian Language at the College of Languages, University of Baghdad, is a specialized academic institution dedicated to the teaching of the Persian language and its literature. The department is distinguished by its specialized faculty and modern curricula that keep pace with academic developments. It seeks to prepare qualified academic cadres with distinguished linguistic and research skills, capable of contributing to the labor market through translation, cultural communication, and the promotion of scientific and cultural understanding among peoples. This is achieved through the development of educational programs, the encouragement of scientific research, and the adoption of modern teaching methods and advanced educational technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_60426\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa
