A Faculty Member from the College of Languages Selected as a Member of the Scientific Committee for an International Conference in Iran<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Dr. Anwar Abbas Majeed from the Persian Language Department at the College of Languages has been selected as an international member of the organizing and preparation committee for the Kalila wa Dimna International Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on February twelfth, twenty twenty-five. It is being organized in collaboration with the National Heritage Association, Allameh Tabataba’i University, and the Embassy of India in Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kalila wa Dimna International Conference focuses on literary and linguistic studies stemming from the Kalila wa Dimna tales, examining their social, intellectual, and political structures, as well as their significant impact on the literature of other nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the international cooperation between foreign universities and the University of Baghdad, including the selection of faculty from the College of Languages for international academic conferences and cultural activities, reflects the academic reputation and expertise of the college’s faculty in linguistic and literary studies.
