{"id":3344,"date":"2026-01-22T08:03:37","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T08:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.colang.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3344"},"modified":"2026-01-22T08:03:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T08:03:37","slug":"green-voices-an-awareness-activity-by-the-college-of-languages-in-support-of-sustainable-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.colang.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3344","title":{"rendered":"Green Voices: An Awareness Activity by the College of Languages in Support of Sustainable Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\"><strong>Green Voices: An Awareness Activity by the College of Languages in Support of Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 15px; color: #000000;\">The Department of English at the College of Languages, in collaboration with the volunteer team <em>Linguists<\/em>, organized an educational and awareness-raising activity titled <em>\u201cGreen Voices: English for a Sustainable Future.\u201d<\/em> The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Languages, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashwesh, along with faculty members and students of the department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 15px; color: #000000;\">The activity aimed to instill a culture of environmental sustainability as an integral part of the academic identity of the department and the university, and to foster a sense of individual and collective responsibility toward environmental protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 15px; color: #000000;\">The event included the presentation of awareness posters that contributed to promoting environmental sustainability concepts, as well as the distribution of English-language brochures addressing topics such as energy conservation and environmental protection. Eco\u2011friendly products carrying English awareness slogans were also distributed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div id=\"cz_44021\" class=\"cz_grid_p
