The purpose of the thesis was to conduct a semantic study on the external organs of the human body in Syriac. The study aimed to explore the primary and secondary names of these organs, clarify their meanings, and identify the factors that contributed to their formation. Furthermore, the study intended to analyze the additional connotations associated with these organs and the meanings derived from them, with the help of Syriac dictionaries.
