Karim) gave a seminar on her paper entitled \u201cUsing Multi-faceted Rasch Models to Understand Middle School Students\u2019 Argumentation Around Scenarios Grounded in Socio-scientific Issues.\u201d Professors and graduate students attended the seminar. The paper has been published earlier in Springer.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000;\">The seminar aimed to investigate the use of writing as a framework for engaging students in debate.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000;\">One of the most important recommendations of the seminar is that measuring some writing practices is useful, such as argumentation, in addition to the importance of variation in methods of teaching in diverse students communities.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-958 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/en.colang.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/96\/2023\/12\/Methods-of-Teaching-in-an-Instructors-Seminar-at-the-English-Department.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"300\" \/>\r\n<\/span><\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Instructor (Maha K.
