Study in Iraq 2025-2026

The College of Languages has worked to create a distinguished atmosphere for teaching and learning by offering study programs that can develop students’ talents to be scientifically and professionally creative and prepare them for outstanding careers in the domains of language and literature. 

Students are admitted to the departments of the College of Languages from graduates of secondary school in both the scientific and literary branches. The Presidency of the University of Baghdad is responsible for determining admission to the scientific departments.

The “Study in Iraq” initiative accepts international students into the master’s program in the Department of English at the College of Languages, with academic backgrounds of Language and Literature. As for the other departments, they accept students with an academic backgrounds of language only. The Presidency of the University of Baghdad is responsible for admitting students to the scientific departments.

Description of the graduates of the College of Languages ​​and of all departments of the college, according to what was stated in the letter of the Secretariat of the College Council No. 83 on 20-4-2015, which stipulated the description of the certificate granted to graduates of the College of Languages ​​and for the initial and higher studies, as follows:
