The College of Languages discusses opening scientific partnerships and international cooperation with the Turkish Embassy delegation
On Wednesday morning, 18-12-2024, the Dean of the College of Languages, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashoush, received a delegation from the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, which included Mr. Ali Kaya, the cultural and political attaché, and Mr. Ugusan Deniz, an official of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), in the presence of the Dean’s assistants, the head of the Department of Turkish Language, and a number of the college members.
The meeting discussed a number of joint projects, most notably organizing training courses to develop the skills of professors and students and supporting the library of the department of Turkish language with a set of books.
The meeting also discussed a project to modernize the infrastructure of the Turkish language department’s classrooms. Mr. Deniz expressed his commitment to follow up on the official procedures necessary to implement these projects, confirming the importance of cooperation in promoting education and culture between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation confirmed its willingness to visit the college again in the coming months to follow up on the progress of the projects and the ongoing cooperation in developing the Turkish language department.
