Faculty and Students from the College of Languages Provide Multilingual Translation Services to Visitors of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)
In alignment with its academic and humanitarian mission, and in commitment to employing scholarly expertise in serving the community, the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad—under the support and sponsorship of the College’s Dean—participates in providing translation and linguistic guidance services to foreign visitors arriving to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
This initiative is carried out in cooperation with the International Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. A distinguished group of faculty members from the College of Languages perform translation and guidance tasks in several world languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Turkish, and Persian, among others. They offer directions related to sacred sites and available services for visitors, in addition to contributing to conveying the religious and cultural message in a manner that enhances understanding and communication among different peoples and cultures.
