Students of the Chinese Language Department Participate in the Chinese Spring Festival Celebration
Students from the Department of Chinese Language at the College of Languages participated in a celebration organized by the Iraqi–Chinese Friendship Association as part of the “Journey to China” activities marking the Chinese Spring Festival and Lunar New Year, with notable official and academic attendance.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashoush, Acting Head of the Chinese Language Department, along with faculty members and students whose active participation reflected the College’s commitment to strengthening cultural exchange and openness to world cultures, particularly Chinese culture.
The celebration also witnessed the attendance of the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, representatives of the Chinese Embassy, and members of the Iraqi–Chinese Friendship Association, in an atmosphere that highlighted the deep historical ties between Iraq and the People’s Republic of China and underscored the importance of cultural, scientific, and educational cooperation.
This participation aligns with the College’s efforts to promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen bonds of friendship and understanding between the two nations, contributing to the advancement of academic and cultural cooperation between Baghdad and Beijing.
