Woman’s Affairs Organizes Awareness Lectures on the Role of Passion in Improving Academic Performance for Students of the College of Languages
In accordance with the directions of the University of Baghdad to organize periodical lectures for female students, the College of Languages – Woman’s Affairs Unit organized morning lectures entitled “The Role of Passion in Improving Academic Performance and Achieving Future Ambitions” during the first week of January. The head of the Woman’s Affairs Unit, Assistant Lecturer Nasrin Shakir Hassan delivered the lectures.
The lectures aimed to introduce female students to the concept of passion and its importance as a motivating factor for enhancing their academic performance, linking this passion to their professional and personal goals in order to achieve their future ambitions by setting clear short-term and long-term plans.
The lecturer explained that some female students have talents in writing, acting, and other success stories, which the College of Languages deanship will work on utilizing them in a way that develops these talents in the upcoming period.
The lecturer recommended organizing workshops and seminars to encourage female students and discover their interests, emphasizing the need to present success stories in a way that enhances their role in university life.
