The College of Languages Holds the National Day of the Holy Qur’an Festival
The Media and Government Communication Unit, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit at the College of Languages/University of Baghdad, organized the National Day of the Holy Qur’an Festival with the attendance of a number of the college’s faculty members and students.
The festival included several segments, beginning with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Qur’an delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jasim Mohammed from the Department of Hebrew. This was followed by a speech delivered by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Rana Yousif Abdul-Latif.
At the conclusion of the festival, student Zainab Thamer Shawkat from the Department of English presented a heartfelt recitation from the Holy Qur’an.
