Faculty of Languages Publishes a Scientific Research Paper in the Global Scopus-Indexed Database
Two faculty members from the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad—Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Khamis Ghabban (first researcher) and Prof. Dr. Hadeel Ismail Khalil (second researcher) published a joint research titled “Female Characters in the Poetry of Valery Bryusov and Badr Shakir al Sayyab: A Comparative Analysis” in the Bulletin of Saint Petersburg State University: Oriental Studies and African Studies (Вестник Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета: Востоковедение и Африканистика), a journal classified in Q3 within the global Scopus database.
The study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of female figures in the poetry of the Russian Symbolist poet Valery Bryusov and the prominent Iraqi poet Badr Shakir al Sayyab.
