The College of Languages Organizes a Seminar on the Risks of Irregular Migration
The Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Migration Resources Directorate, held an awareness seminar titled “The National Campaign to Reduce the Risks of Irregular Migration.” The seminar was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Abdul‑Adel and Ms. Noor Abdul‑Nabi from the Migration Directorate, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. The seminar addressed several key topics, including the types of migration, the factors that drive individuals toward irregular migration, as well as the risks and consequences associated with it. The speakers also reviewed the national campaign led by the Migration Directorate to curb the phenomenon of irregular migration. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of irregular migration and highlight its negative impacts on both individuals and society.
