A Delegation from the Turkish (YTB) Foundation visits the College of Languages to provide educational services
Within the framework of strengthening educational relations between Iraqi and Turkish academic institutions, the Dean of the College of Languages, Professor Dr. Ali Adnan Mashwash, received a delegation from the Turkish (YTB) Foundation, in the presence of the Head of the Turkish Language Department, Prof. Dr. Necdet Yasher Murad.
The mechanisms for providing scholarships to students of the College of Languages who wish to complete their studies at Turkish universities were discussed. Besides, the discussions touched upon the allocation of seats for the top three students in the Turkish Language Department, enhancing scientific cooperation by holding development courses for students and professors in Turkey and supplying the department’s library with modern books.
During a tour of the college corridors and halls, the delegation praised the infrastructure reconstruction campaign adopted by the college deanship. The delegation acknowledged the importance of providing a distinguished academic atmosphere.
It is worth noting that (YTB) is a Turkish government institution responsible for managing scholarship programs for international students. It supervises the (Turkish Scholarships) program which aims to provide educational opportunities in Turkish universities for outstanding students from all over the world.
The Deanship of the College of Languages is keen to achieve the goals of sustainable development by opening new horizons for academic and cultural cooperation with the Turkish side. The deanship aspires to create new opportunities for a good education that is comprehensive for all, which helps students find good job opportunities and contribute to the economic growth of Iraq.
