Honoring a Number of College of Languages Faculty Members Among the Best Research Papers at the International Conference on Kalila and Dimna in Tehran

 

A number of faculty members from the College of Languages were honored among the top 15 selected papers at the International Conference on Kalila and Dimna, which was held in collaboration with Allameh Tabataba’i University  in Tehran at the end of last month.
The honorees included Professor Dr. Anwar Abbas from the Department of Persian Language, who presented a joint paper with researcher Zainab Nasser Kaniher from the same department. Additionally, the paper by Professor Leila Mnati from the Arabic Language Unit and the paper by Lecturer Victoria Mnati from the Department of French Language were also recognized. Their research was selected among the distinguished papers presented at the conference.
This recognition reflects the outstanding academic standing of the faculty members of the College of Languages and their significant contributions to literary and linguistic studies. It also underscores the important role of the Kalila and Dimna tales in enriching literary and cultural thought throughout the ages and their profound impact on various world literatures.
