Conclusion of the Joint Scientific Cooperation Program Between the Italian Language Department and the Dante Alighieri Foundation
The Department of Italian at the College of Languages concluded its online linguistic training program aimed at developing students’ conversational skills, organised in collaboration with the Italian Dante Alighieri Foundation and delivered by Italian language expert Alessandra Olevano, as part of the department’s academic activities for the current semester.
The program targeted students on the first, second, and third stages, offering intensive interactive training in speaking and listening. It also prepared candidates for the Italian scholarship through simulated interviews and language proficiency tests, contributing to enhancing their communicative abilities and overcoming language barriers. The Italian expert praised the academic level of the department’s students and the development of its teaching methods, emphasising the importance of such programs in supporting Italian language learning and strengthening cultural exchange. This activity comes within the department’s ongoing efforts to expand avenues of international academic cooperation and to develop students’ skills through direct interaction with native speakers of the language.
