The College of Languages Participates in the “Baghdad: Capital of Arab Tourism” Conference

The College of Languages at the University of Baghdad, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mushush, and a large group of the college’s translators, participated in the “Baghdad: Capital of Arab Tourism” conference. The event was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance. It was held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the University of Baghdad.                                                                                                                     

The conference was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badrani; the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili (representing the Minister of Higher Education); the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Baha’a Ensaf; in addition to a number of university presidents, deans, prominent academics, intellectuals, and individuals interested in tourism and cultural affairs.                                                                                              

The event aimed to shed light on the historical and civilizational importance of Baghdad and to promote its cultural and creative identity, given its rich and profound historical legacy.
