The College of Languages Celebrates Its Annual Ceremony on the Birth Anniversary of Lady Fatimah al‑Zahra (peace be upon her)
Under the slogan “Fatimah, the Delight of the Prophet’s Eyes,” the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad held its annual celebration marking the birth anniversary of the Lady Fatimah al‑Zahra, the Immaculate and Righteous (peace be upon her). The event was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashwesh, his assistants, faculty members, and students of the college.
The ceremony began with a blessed recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the recitation of Al‑Fatiha in memory of the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland. The celebration took place in a spiritual atmosphere reflecting Islamic values and the importance of following the example of Umm Abiha, Lady al‑Zahra (peace be upon her).
The college also hosted His Eminence Sheikh Muhannad Al‑Kaabi, who delivered an insightful lecture discussing the life of Lady al‑Zahra and how her birth anniversary can serve as a source of inspiration in our daily lives.
