College of Languages Represents the University of Baghdad in a Regional Workshop on Mediation and Conflict Management in Cyprus
Prof. Dr. Dhikra Mutib Hussein, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Languages, participated on behalf of the University of Baghdad in a regional workshop held in Larnaca, Republic of Cyprus, titled “Mediation as a Tool for Preventing and Managing Conflicts,” from 9–11 December 2025. The workshop brought together around thirty university professors and academic leaders from twenty‑five universities representing various countries.
The sessions focused on developing mindful communication and active listening skills as essential tools for fostering mutual respect and creating a safe university environment.This participation comes as part of the ongoing institutional cooperation between the University of Baghdad and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in the Middle East.
