The College of Languages publishes a book translated from Arabic into Persian

Professor Dr. Raheem Mazhar Al-Atabi, a faculty member at the College, has published a translated book from Arabic into Persian entitled Inspired by the Cypress Tree, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Ezzat Molla Ebrahimi of the University of Tehran and Dr. Meytham Shirkash.

The volume spans 200 pages and represents both a new literary release and a cultural bridge, commemorating the martyrs of the Resistance, Hajj Qassem Soleimani and Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the two leaders who were martyred in Iraq. It also strengthens the cultural ties between the Arabic and Persian languages.

This literary edition features selected Arabic poems composed in honor of the two martyrs, inviting Iranian readers to discover the beauty of the Arabic language and the profound eloquence with which it conveys reverence and admiration for these two iconic figures in the region’s history.

The book is a significant addition to the literary shelf, highlighting the place of the martyrs in the hearts of Arab writers and poets. It reflects the profound impact of their martyrdom and the noble sacrifices they made. It serves as an essential initiative to enhance cultural and artistic exchange between the Iraqi and Iranian peoples. Furthermore, the book underscores the shared destiny and common values that unite them.
