Under the slogan “Your Government at Your Service,” and as a part of the volunteer initiative at the College of Languages, University of Baghdad, the volunteer works committee dedicated to providing its services to the pilgrims of Imam Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) during the Arbaeen commemoration. Under the supervision of the college administration and the directives of the university presidency, committee members prepared and served food to the visitors. Additionally, the college formed a team of professors, staff, alumni, and student volunteers to offer services at guidance and translation centers under the title “Imam Hussein Center (peace be upon him).” This team includes specialists in English, German, Persian, Russian, French, Turkish, and other rare languages. These translators provide detailed explanations about the history of the holy sites and the rituals of the pilgrimage, helping visitors to understand the spiritual and cultural events.

These initiatives reflect the college’s commitment to supporting the cultural and religious dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage and enhancing communication among visitors from diverse cultures and languages. The college aims to ensure that the religious and cultural message reaches the pilgrims in their own languages, thereby enriching their spiritual experience in holy Karbala.
