The College of Languages publishes scientific research in a prestigious international journal
Assistant Professor Khalil Awein Farhan, a college member in the department of Spanish language at the College of Languages, University of Baghdad, has published a scientific research paper in the Jordan Journal of Modern Linguistics and Literatures, which is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) of the global Scopus index.
The research has been indexed in the Scopus database contributing to the academic and scientific standing of the university.The paper, titled (Exegetical Texts and Linguistic Proficiency: Essential Tools in Translating the Qur’anic Text) explores the unique nature of the Qur’anic text and the mechanisms for conveying its meanings into foreign languages. The researcher emphasizes the essential tools required for accurate translation, such as linguistic mastery and deep understanding of Qur’anic exegesis.
