In the presence of The Dean of the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, the college was visited by the Parliament member Ibtisam Al-Hilali, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nima Dahash Farhan, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences And the president of the Al-Araqa Foundation for Culture and Development, Dr. Alaa Al-Mandalwi .
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers(the Non-Governmental Organizations Department) , the Center for Women’s Studies, the Parliamentary Agriculture and Marshes Committee, the College of Islamic Sciences and the Al-Araqa Foundation for Culture and Development.
held a voluntery camping to palnt roses,trees and palms at the gardens of College of Languages to increase the green lands and to accomplish the initiative of planting one million tree that sponsored by The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and supporting to the initiative of Prime Minister of planting 5 million trees and palms in Iraq to confront the climate change.
The President of University of Baghdad planted the plants in cooperation with Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, manager of quality assurance, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Adnan Meshush, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Odeh Jawir.
