Under the patronage of the Dean of College of Languages, Assistant. Prof. Ali Adnan (Ph.D.) and within the College Annual Scientific and Cultural Seasons, Women’s Empowerment Unit held a pink campaign for October under the slogan (Woman is the Societies Science and Culture ) to raise awareness of early detection of breast cancer On Wednesday, the 01/11/2023 at martyr Fouad al-Bayati’s Hall.
The campaign included a number of events, the first of which was a speech by Assistant Prof. Wrood Naji Abdelamir (Ph.D.), Head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit, a scientific lecture on early detection of breast cancer by teacher Nada Abdelaziz Mustafa, Director of the Division of Information Technology, a musical piece, a song and a photo exhibition about Iraqi women role and the importance of maintaining Iraqi women health. A tour was held within the blocks of the campus to distribute the campaign Brochure.
On the behalf of the Dean of College of Languages, the festival was attended by Dean’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Students Assistant. Prof. Ammar Awodah Jwayer (Ph.D.).
