Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the College of Languages concluded its celebration of International Entrepreneurship Week. The College was overseen by Professor Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, President of the University of Baghdad, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Adnan Al-Kaabi, Dean of the Colleg.
The College of Languages festive program kicked off on Monday, November 13, 2023. It featured two exhibitions: one featuring student artwork and another featuring books, letters, pictures, and studies organized by the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division.
A workshop on “How to Be a Successful Entrepreneur in Six Steps” and another workshop on “The Concept of Entrepreneurship, the Role of the Educational Environment in It, and the Pioneering Role of Women in Society” were among the scientific activities that the committee overseeing the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week carried out. Numerous interventions were made throughout the sessions and discussions on this significant occasion.
Students from a variety of scientific fields at the College of Languages shared their entrepreneurial and success tales on the Martyr Fouad Al-Bayati Hall stage. The involved students evaluated the initiatives they had set up, whether they had been started during their studies or after they had graduated. The guests heard about innovative ideas and experiences that our students had that helped them gain from attending the College of Languages, as well as how these things worked. They were able to bundle this and take advantage of it by implementing ground-breaking initiatives that set them apart.
The College of Languages seeks to support several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by gaining access to innovative work. The goals align with the College’s operations, which include for example: The Fourth objective: Providing graduates of the College of Languages with the scientific know-how necessary for success via high-quality education.
