The General Conference of the Arab Universities Union commenced its fifty-sixth session at the University of Baghdad on Monday, the 4th of March, 2024.The event was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, along with the distinguished officials including the Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Adnan Ibrahim Abdulkareem, and the President of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, Professor Salah Al-Fatlawi. Also in attendance were the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Baha Ibrahim Insaaf, the deans of faculties, as well as international and diplomatic dignitaries.
The inaugural session of the conference was attended by the Dean of the College of Languages, Associate Professor Dr. Ali Adnan Mishoosh, and the honorable members of the college council.
The banner of the current session was ceremoniously handed over to the President of the University of Baghdad.
