With the attendance of the college of languages’ staff members and students, unit of psychological counseling and educational guidance held an awareness symposium on the role of tolerant Shariah in rejecting extremism and raising society morals. The symposium shed light on Ahl al-Bait’s, peace be upon them, behavioral and intellectual perspective as well as on the guiding role of the educational institutions in raising society morals. It also focused on maintaining the social fabric within communities.
 Need for tolerance, as one of the ethical and human virtues , spreading the spirit of tolerance to maintain  community cohesion , applying human rights law , youth and child skills development through cultural activities come up with a set of the symposium most important recommendations.
 The symposium hosted Sheikh. Jassim Mohammed Hussein Al-Mandalawi and Prof. Raheem Mezher Al-Attabi (Ph.D.) of the Department of Persian as well as Instructor Ali Hussein Hassan (Ph.D.) head of the unit of psychological counseling and educational guidance.
On the behalf of the Dean of College of Languages, the symposium was attended by Assistant. Prof. Ali Adnan (Ph.D.) and Assistant. Prof. Ammar Awodah Jwayer (Ph.D.),the Dean’s Assistant for Scientific and Students Affairs.
