Dean of the Faculty of Languages Dr. Ali Adnan Mishoosh honored the students of the French Language Department who participated in the 2023 Concours d’Orient competition, as well as the students who passed the DELF B1 exam.
These international engagements, organized by the French Cultural Center in Iraq for non-French speakers, showcase the students’ proficiency in speaking French.
The French Language Department is distinguished by its numerous international contributions and participations, which serve to enhance students’ abilities and broaden their linguistic understanding. Students expressed their joy at participating and encouraged their peers to follow suit.
They also expressed their sincere gratitude to the college administration for this initiative, which incentivizes students to excel. In turn, the Dean commended the efforts of the department’s faculty in enhancing students’ academic performance, expressing willingness to continue fostering international communication to support students’ linguistic skills.
Additionally, during the ceremony, student Abbas Saadoun Awda from the Hebrew Language Department, third stage, was honored for his continuous musical contributions to all college activities.
