Distinguished Participation Of The Professors Of The College Of Languages In Translating The Works Of The Iraqi-Iranian Science Week In The Holy Karbala
Within the framework of scientific cooperation between the College of Languages and academic institutions, the teaching staff members at the Persian Language Department participated in the activities of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week in the holy Karbala city with the participation of more than a hundred universities from the two countries, which was held at the halls of Al-Zahra University, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.
Al-Aboudi has confirmed ,in his speech during the opening ceremony: The Second Version of the Iraqi-,Iranian Science Week will proceed with details to the implementation stage in terms of exchanging scientists, professors and researchers, implementing research and technological projects, cultural exchange and scholarships, holding specialized workshops, stimulating technical and professional cooperation, and establishing joint parks for science and technology .
The minister has explained that the Iraqi government and its development institutions, especially the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, have achieved positive indicators in the field of internationalization of education and the field of sustainable development and have shown the name of Iraq in important international ranks thanks to the keen interest in scientific research and the rise in the growth index in global publishing, pointing out at the same time that the path of quality education in Iraqi university institutions has provided a guarantee of access to international accreditation and made the academic programs and certificates granted at a high level of scientific solidity. The participation of professors of the Persian Language Department came with translation tasks at all levels and activities related to the forum in terms of translating the memorandum of understanding and documentaries, in addition to the simultaneous translation of the speeches of the attendees.
This forum revolves around the understanding between the two sides to enhance scientific and academic relations and benefit from the expertise available in both countries, with the launch of missions and scholarships, and working to strengthen the scientific solidity of students studying, whether in undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
