Collage of languages receives the Iranian ambassador and celebrates the cultural day of the Persian language department
The Deanship of the College of Languages received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, and Mr. Dr. Javad Najafi, responsible for scientific and university affairs in the Iranian Cultural Chancellery, and a number of members of the embassy on Monday, 20/3/2023, as the visit was on the sidelines of the celebration of the Cultural Day of the Language Department of Persian and Nowruz holidays.
Where the celebration included speeches from the Deanship of the College, the Department Presidency, and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and scientific, academic and cultural events and activities for teachers and students that won the admiration of everyone. The visit also included a tour in the Department of Persian language and a review of what it contains and the requirements it needs for language development in the department.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Adnan Meshush, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Odeh Jawir, Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Nahla Daoud Salman, Head of the Department of Persian Language, Assistant Professor Dr. Anwar Abbas Majeed, Official Coordinator of the Persian Language Department with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, and a number of teachers and students in the department.
