College of Languages Students Participate in An Intensive Language Course in France
In implementation of the role of scientific and cultural partnerships between the College of Languages and the French side, a group of students from the French Language Department have participated in a development course at the CAVILAM Linguistic and Pedagogical Education Center in the city of Vichy – France.
The students Al-Baqir Mahmoud Nouri, Abdullah Ahmed Abdul Razzaq, Abdul Rahman Alaa Hussein, Maryam Muhammad Kazem, Abdul Ghani Harith Hamid have participated in an intensive language course for two weeks.
This course provided the students with the opportunity to enhance their linguistic and communication skills in writing and speaking, as the Deanship of the College seeks to provide all the requirements that would make such activities successful, and to encourage our students to be open to the cultures of the languages they are studying.
Through its support of scientific and cultural activities, the College of Languages emphasizes the importance of learning languages and contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as sending students to France is consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Fourth Goal: Quality education – Students receive quality education in the French language and culture, which will help them succeed in their studies and careers.
Fifth goal: Gender equality : Students of all genders receive quality education in the French language, to promote gender equality.
Eighth Goal: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Students will be able to find decent work and contribute to the economic growth of Iraq after completing their studies.
Tenth Goal: Reduce inequality : Students from different parts of Iraq will have the opportunity to learn about the latest findings of French universities the field of language learning.
