College of Languages participated in the photographs exhibition (100 vases of an Italian design). The exhibition is opened by the Minister of Culture in Iraq, Dr. Ahmed Fakak Aldrani, and the ambassador of Italy, Mr. Mawertesio Kerkanti. This exhibition tells the story of the development of the Italian vase design, and how it has been developed from a simple container to a fantastic, artistic piece that expresses various cultural and ancient subject matters. This art has developed also through an artistic revolution to be a vase that has geometric shapes.
This exhibition held in Baghdad on the Italian Design Day (2024) in the Iraqi – Italian Center in Almutanabi Street under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture; with the support of the Italian Institute of Commerce; and with the coordination of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture.
The celebration was attended by the Dean of the College of Languages (Dr. Ali Adnan Mashosh and Dr. Bahaa Najem Mahmood, head of the Department of Italian Language/ College of Languages/ University of Baghdad.
