The students of the Department of Italian Language in the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad arrived to the Republic of Italy ,the students were received by Perugia University of foreign students.
The students are studying a short-term scholarship for a three-month course at the University of Perugia ,this scholarship is granted by the Italian embassy in Baghdad.
It is worth noting that the Deanship of the College, in cooperation with the Italian Language Department, has provided all the appropriate conditions for conducting the test, which was prepared for the purpose of accepting student candidates with complete privacy and comfort for the work of the committee, which among the conditions of its work is independence and complete privacy at work. This cooperation is a result of the deanship effort to open up to towards the international scientific world and making the college a beacon to radiate knowledge, and scholarships.
This important event is one of the events that the Deanship of the College and the Head of the Italian Language Department, represented by the Lecture. Dr. Bahaa Najm Mahmoud, seek to support our students and encourage them to open up to the cultures of the languages they study,and the deanship of the college and the presidency of the department are constantly communicating with the students and documenting the extent of their commitment,communication and benefit from these scholarships in order to work to increase their number in the future.
The College of Languages, through its support for scientific activities, emphasizes the importance of learning languages and contributing to the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals to ensure quality, equitable and inclusive education for all, and in line with the principles of goal 17 of the sustainable development goals through collaborative efforts between academia, governments and other sectors.
